Stream-proof overlay setup for Warzone

Streaming Call of Duty Warzone with overlays visible is an instant channel ban on most platforms. Stream-proof mode hides ESP, radar, and menu toggles from OBS, Xbox Game Bar, and most software capture paths—while keeping them visible on your physical monitor. Content creators on Lite and Pro tiers need this enabled before every broadcast.
Enable stream-proof mode
Open the utility tab in the operator portal or Cloud DMA dashboard. Toggle stream-proof overlay hiding. Apply before launching OBS or your capture software—not after. Some hooks register at capture start; order matters.
Test before going live
Record 30 seconds locally in OBS with the same scene collection you use for streams. Watch the playback—if boxes or radar appear, stop and recheck the toggle. Test game capture and display capture modes separately; some setups behave differently.
Capture card edge cases
Hardware capture cards reading raw HDMI may bypass software hooks and show overlays anyway. If you pass through a fuser or split HDMI, verify on the exact chain you broadcast. Cloud DMA fuser setups need separate testing from software-only Lite profiles.
Cloud DMA operators
Stream-proof applies to the operator dashboard output path. If you merge via fuser to a stream PC, ensure the stream PC receives clean game feed without overlay compositing on that HDMI leg. Dual-PC stream setups are common for this reason.
Lite tier advantage
Lite operators who only need awareness for personal play still benefit from stream-proof when recording VODs for squad review. Enable it any time footage leaves your local drive.
